The Happy Hollows Music Video: Big Bad Wolf

The Happy Hollows is one of the bands that make me really proud of the LA music scene. With the NYC music scene so heavily based on electronica and Canadian bands trying to cram as many people on stage as they can, Los Angeles has many small bands, like this trio, who offer a very organic and raw sound that amplifies strength in performance and songwriting structure.

This band's popularity recently skyrocketed within in the past year, but the acknowledgment is actually way overdue. Post-punk is at its best with members, Sarah Negahdari, Charles Mahoney, and Chris Hernandez and they do it all while having a blast, too.

Proof? Just watch their new video for "Big Bad Wolf" below. The Happy Hollows always manage to churn out entertaining videos, but this one just blows my mind in how much it falls into the "acid-tripping" realm. Watch for yourself! Then grab their track, "Faces," if you haven't already!
