Xiu Xiu Music Video: This Too Shall Pass Away (For Freddy)

Xiu Xiu, has a certain dark aspect to their music (their latest album IS named Dear God, I hate Myself). Jamie Stewart consistently sings in a generous, rich, and gothic tone, but Xiu Xiu also maintains a lot of synthpop, ambient and techno elements. So, it makes perfect sense that they release a video for "This Too Shall Pass Away (For Freddy)" that looks completely like a video game while you hear inserts of 8-bit sounds here and there in the song.
